The Davis Enterprise : Davis Art Center

If you have not seen or heard yet, we have made the FRONT PAGE BABY! The project I am working on at the Davis Art Center has been receiving a lot of attention and praises.

Here is the article on the world wide web for your reading pleasure (HERE). Click on the large picture and check out even MORE pictures of the project! This particular project that I am working on is EXACTLY the reason why I love public art. This piece is engaging the community, I am working with other people and helping to promote education, in this case it is about MOMENTUM! That's right folks, dont be scared of the physics and math equations here, this place offers lots of fun and creative outlets for you, your kids (if you have any) your friends kids, and your siblings kids of ALL AGES to enjoy learning about science.

Here are a few more progression shots for you to gander at. Have a great weekend!

First Friday, Santa Cruz

This First Friday here in Santa Cruz I danced my way down to the Downtown Library to check out the new public art piece and then headed over to the Blitzer to check out Yves Goyatton's work!

This public art at the library could not be better. The designs are spot on. They look great far away and close up. The line work is well done and it keeps your eye moving.

"Bridget Henry plays with concepts of home and shelter in her installation "HOME," which will cover the downtown library's walls." -

Now on to the Blitzer! My friend Yves is showing his work there. If you get a chance to check out the show please do. This show has all types of mediums and many Monterey Bay artists which is always a pleasure to see! It was raining 'red dots'   at the Blitzer, so if you are looking to acquire art, go to the Blitzer! They are in a new space and building is looking mighty fine! Go a head, take a look and I will see you next time!

Liberty Bottleworks!

The robots are hitting the big time! Here is a sample of one of the designs I created for Liberty Bottleworks. This bottle is made from 100% percent recycled metal, PBA free, and MADE IN THE USA! I will keep you up to date when they hit the stores, like REI and Whole Foods!
