Dorothy's Place :: What The Deck :: Margo Mullen

The National Steinbeck Center is holding a benefit for Dorothy's Kitchen in conjunction with themselves. This is a great way to help out two important educational and public services organizations in the Salinas area. This is a four week exhibition.
"The first opportunity to participate in the silent auction of the skateboard art will be at the exhibit's opening reception on September 19, 2009, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the National Steinbeck Center. Admission is free and open to the public. As a companion event to the exhibit, there will be a live skateboarding show in Steinbeck Square adjacent to the National Steinbeck Center with live music from local bands Realization and Para La Gente. This is a family-friendly event and everyone is encouraged to attend and help us celebrate the unique art created in support of two unique organizations that represent the cultural background of John Steinbeck."
