First Friday, Santa Cruz

This First Friday here in Santa Cruz I danced my way down to the Downtown Library to check out the new public art piece and then headed over to the Blitzer to check out Yves Goyatton's work!

This public art at the library could not be better. The designs are spot on. They look great far away and close up. The line work is well done and it keeps your eye moving.

"Bridget Henry plays with concepts of home and shelter in her installation "HOME," which will cover the downtown library's walls." -

Now on to the Blitzer! My friend Yves is showing his work there. If you get a chance to check out the show please do. This show has all types of mediums and many Monterey Bay artists which is always a pleasure to see! It was raining 'red dots'   at the Blitzer, so if you are looking to acquire art, go to the Blitzer! They are in a new space and building is looking mighty fine! Go a head, take a look and I will see you next time!
