17th Avenue Studio :: Spring Show

The 17th Ave Studio Artists put on a high quality show. This was the annual "Spring Show" where the artists open up their hearts and studios to the public for a two day event. This year we paired up with the SPCA, got a dog adopted and raised money to help support this great cause.

Above: Pat M-Towery in her studio. Below Susan Hancey with a wave hello! Both of these ladies showed at the Trition Museum in Santa Clara.

Here is Demian Bartholomew-Keller in his studio. It has been a real delight sharing space with him and watching him go-go-go. He has a high quality of work and a true passion and love for print making.

The Sweet Miss Heejin Lee!
Looking out to Gary Lomax and Susan Marks double-door goodness!

Here is the view of the NEW...middle, middle building, where the silent auction was held and new spaces for artist are at.

This is the mini hallway show I put together with everyone in the front two building's work.

And the band starts up! Below Carolina McCall shows off her beautiful studio with her amazing tribute to the Mayan culture.

Below is the work of Jean.

I caught Heejin on the last day!

Photographer Paul.

Work of Caren Camblin and a view of her sweet spot at the 17th.

 Cher Robert's yummy space!

We are heading to the back buildings!

Ronna Schulkin's work. Not only do I love Ronna's work, but she is one of the sweetest people I have met. If you are in the area and looking to purchase work, set an appointment to see Ronna!

 Jen Hall with jewelery.
Roberta Lee Woods new planet work was a treat to see in person.

Above is Fanne Fernow. I was very excited to get to check out the "Broccoli Series" I have been hearing about it, and it was very cool to see it in person. Below is Maggie Yee's work.

Hi Margo--the show was so much fun and having the SPCA there added such warmth to the event. Thank you for sharing the photos--you captured the spirit of the 17th.
